Dani Olmo's desire to play professionally in his native Spain for the very first time isn't exactly a secret. The 24-year-old, widely regarded as one of the best attacking technicians in the Bundesliga, would absolutely love to take advantage of the current reported interest of Spanish sides FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atleti.

Should Olmo continue to deliver strong performances for country during the current World Cup, this trio and potentially others may be prepared to pay the rumored €60-75 million the exit clause in his current contract necessitates. Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid reports that Leipzig may even have to accept slightly less as Olmo genuinely wishes to move.

Olmo's current contract with the German Red Bulls runs through the end of next season. Sport Bild reports that the attacking midfielder has essentially rejected any and all attempts by the Saxon club to extend the deal. The report goes on to suggest that this cold shoulder could easily translate to an obstinate refusal to keep playing for the club if reasonable offers are not considered.
