Bayer Leverkusen and Daley Sinkgraven seem likely to part ways at the end of the season.

Daley Sinkgraven appears to be heading for the exit door at Bayer Leverkusen.

The 27-year-old Dutch left-back, who is out of contract in the summer, told NOS:

"I know that the top European clubs are not interested, but I still want to continue playing in a good league."

He added that a move back to the Eredivisie is unlikely unless one of the Dutch top clubs come knocking for him.

Sinkgraven has actually started the last two games for Leverkusen, but has struggled to nail down a consistent place in the starting line-up.

"I don't understand it sometimes either," admitted Sinkgraven, who made the decision to stay at Leverkusen in January.

"It also makes no sense to keep going back to the coach," he noted.
