Leicester City have emerged as the frontrunners to sign Borussia Dortmund's Mahmoud Dahoud, according to Sky Germany.

Per the German media outlet, the English Premier League side face competition from a number of clubs, including AC Milan, Napoli, Sevilla and Real Betis.

It was confirmed last month that Dahoud will leave Dortmund on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires.

The 27-year-old midfielder has made a total of 138 appearances for BVB with five goals and 16 assists to his name.
