Kane explains Bayern move, reacts to debut defeat

Harry Kane was officially presented at FC Bayern Munich today. Among other things, the forward explained his move to Germany and shared his thoughts on last night's disappointing loss to RB Leipzig.

At his official presentation as a Bayern Munich player today, Harry Kane explained his decision to leave Tottenham for the German champions.

"It was clear that it would be a difficult decision. I was at Tottenham for 19 years, the club is part of my heart," Kane said (via @iMiaSanMia).

"I felt like now is the right time. I want to win titles. When Bayern contacted me, I knew I wanted to do it."

The England international also reacted to last night's 0-3 Supercup defeat to Leipzig, which saw him make his debut after just over an hour.

"The team got off to a bad start yesterday, we conceded early which is never easy, and I think it knocked some of the confidence of the players. I see players with great quality, great personality. Hopefully with the addition of me, a bit more leadership, we can help the team.

"It was disappointing. Any game you lose is disappointing especially when you're at home, but in time I will try and push the team to a different level."
