Six-goal Frankfurt flex their superiority against Helsinki

Dino Toppmöller’s Frankfurt had been shy on goals up until last weekends 3-1 win over Hoffenheim. Tonight, they continued their goal-scoring hot streak in the Europa Conference League, downing HJK Helsinki 6-0.
Die Adler got off the mark thanks to a 12th minute penalty converted by Dina Ebimbe. With summer signing Farès Chaïbi pulling the strings all evening, it wasn’t long before the Algerian picked out Robin Koch from a corner.

Omar Marmoush added a third for Toppmöller’s side on the half hour after linking up with Götze. In first-half injury time, Tuta repeated the act of his centre-half partner. Another Farès Chaïbi delivery allowed the Brazilian to nod home from five metres out.

Chaïbi and Ebimbe would synchronise harmoniously to fire Frankfurt 5-0 in front. The latter gathering possession and feeding Skhiri who had an empty goal at his mercy. Dina Ebimbe chimed in with his second of the game just before the final whistle with some aid from the crossbar. A resounding 6-0 win that sees Eintracht Frankfurt go second in Group G.
