Bayer Leverkusen have reached a full agreement to sign Borja Iglesias on loan from Real Betis, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 31-year-old has already completed the first part of his medical, with the move set to be sealed in the next few days, the Italian transfer market insider claims.

He also claims that the loan deal includes an option to buy for €8 million.

Iglesias will provide competition and cover for Patrik Schick up front, with Victor Boniface ruled out until April.

The 31-year-old Spanish striker has scored two goals in 18 matches this season.
