Report: Schalke to hold on to Tedesco despite painful 0-7 defeat
Schalke 04 have reportedly decided to keep Domenico Tedesco as coach despite Tuesday's embarrassing 0-7 defeat to Manchester City.
Schalke 04 coach Domenico Tedesco is expected to stay in charge for Saturday's game against RB Leipzig, according to Reviersport.
Schalke head of sport Jochen Schneider refused to give any guarantees in the wake of Tuesday's painful 0-7 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League.
But, apparently, after a meeting on Wednesday, it has been decided that Tedesco will be given one last chance to save his job.
If Tedesco eventually loses his job, his assistant Seppo Eichkorn is likely to take over as interim coach.
