The German media outlet claims that the 24-year-old will be in the squad when Germany coach Joachim Löw announces his team for the upcoming games against against Turkey (October 7), Ukraine (October 10) and Switzerland (October 13) on Friday.

Dahoud has represented Germany a total of 34 times at youth level, playing for the U18, U19, U20 and U21 teams.
