Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the signing of Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Manchester United.
The Dutch right-back has joined 'Die Werkself' on a permanent deal, signing a contract until 2024.
"Timothy Fosu-Mensah is a technically adept, fast and physically strong defender who can be used both as a right-back and in the central defence," explained Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes.
"He's a valuable addition to our squad. We face major sporting challenges in the coming weeks. For this, we need players who can work under pressure and consistently deliver top performances," added managing director Rudi Völler.
Fosu-Mensah played a total of 30 games for Manchester United, making one assist.
