Ahead of Matchday 16, we have highlighted a must-have player (M) and a differential pick (D) from each game that you should consider for your Fantasy Bundesliga team.

M: Patrik Schick, Forward (B04, 14.9M, 1%) - Schick has been in fine form lately, scoring his sixth goal of the season in all competitions last weekend. He has now scored three times on 10 shots in his last four games. Leverkusen is finally reaping the rewards of signing him and have rewarded him with a start in every Leverkusen game since Nov. 26th.
D: Robert Andrich, Midfielder (FCU, 9.2M, 1%) - Two games back and Andrich has already bagged a goal and an assist, scoring double digit Fantasy points in both. The engine of the Union midfield, Andrich will be heavily involved in most of what Union tries to pull off.
Borussia Dortmund v. 1. FSV Mainz 05:
M: Mats Hummels, Defender (BVB, 14.4M, 14%) - Hummels has quietly had a superb Fantasy season, sitting one point behind teammate Guerreiro in third place for the season. With Dortmund up against Mainz, there is a great chance for a clean sheet. He is also slightly cheaper than his counterpart for pretty much the same Fantasy output.
D: Marco Reus, Forward (BVB, 17.6M, 3%) - This game could really get out of hand for Mainz with the recent form Dortmund have been showing. If this turns out to be a goal fest, Reus is certainly the differential pick of the Dortmund attack with only 3% ownership.
TSG Hoffenheim v. DSC Arminia Bielefeld:
M: Andrej Kramarić, Forward (TSG, 15.8M, 9%) - Kramarić was very active in Hoffenheim’s loss to Schalke, racking up six shots and seven crosses. It was a shame he did not come away from the game with anything to show for on the scoresheet. Earlier in the season when Kramarić was on point like this in a game, he usually came away with multiple goals. This may be a sign that there is more to come.
D: Sergio Córdova, Forward (DSC, 6.1M, 1%) - Córdova was agonizingly close to netting last weekend in what was one of Bielefeld’s best games of the season. They finally got themselves out of the relegation zone and will hope to improve off that last display.
VfL Wolfsburg v. RB Leipzig:
M: Dani Olmo, Midfielder (RBL, 16.1M, 13%) - Olmo has been one of the more consistent Leipzig players lately, scoring double digit Fantasy points in three out of his last five games. In the last three games alone, he has rattled off 12 shots with one goal. He will continue to be a high-end asset for the rest of the season.
D: Yannick Gerhardt, Midfielder (WOB, 6.1M, 0%) - Gerhardt has started the last three games and has been extremely solid in each. He has linked well with the attack and has managed eight shots with three on target in that time frame. Wolfsburg will need all the fire power they can in this clash with Leipzig.
1. FC Köln v. Hertha BSC:
M: Dodi Lukébakio, Forward (BSC, 12.4M, 1%) - With only three goals on the season so far, it can be described as a subpar season for Lukébakio. However, he has shown flashes in the last three games that he may be up to the challenge. With the Billy Goats on a downward spiral, now would be the perfect time to capitalize.
D: Jan Thielmann, Midfielder (KOE, 4.2M, 0%) - It can't get much worse after the 5-nil thrashing Köln received at the hands of Freiburg last weekend. If you take a flyer on Thielmann, he has a great chance of playing as a striker while only a midfielder in the Fantasy game, always a plus.
SV Werder Bremen v. FC Augsburg:
M: Joshua Sargent, Forward (SVW, 9.1M, 2%) - For a striker to have so much confidence from his manager to start every match but one all season, you would hope he would have an attacking return of more than one goal and two assists in 14 games. Unfortunately, that is the story of Sargent’s career, one of the Bundesliga enigmas. He hasn't scored since matchday six and Augsburg let in four last match to Stuttgart. If there was ever a time to score, now is it.
D: Ruben Vargas, Midfielder (FCA, 9.8M, 1%) - Vargas recorded an assist last match to make it two on the season to go with three goals as well. Quite the attacking return so far on the season for the young midfielder. He will continue to be heavily involved in the attack going forward.
VfB Stuttgart v. Borussia M’gladbach:
M: Florian Neuhaus, Midfielder (BMG, 13.4M, 3%) - Neuhaus is having one of his best seasons so far from an attacking standpoint, scoring three and assisting two in just 13 league games. This solid play has even drawn some interest from Bayern in the last couple of days. He should continue to excel for the rest of this season as the sky's the limit for Neuhaus.
D: Nicolás González, Forward (VFB, 9.6M, 1%) - In his last five games, González has two goals on 18 shots and an assist. Pretty much every player on Stuttgart is a differential pick but González certainly has the most upside.
FC Bayern München v. Sport-Club Freiburg:
M: Leroy Sané, Forward (FCB, 17.9M, 19%) - A fire has been lit under Sané recently after reports of lackluster play made its rounds in the media. He has played very well in the last two matches and will want to put away any more rumours going around about him.
D: Ermedin Demirović, Forward (SCF, 7.3M, 0%) - Demirović is absolutely on fire in his last three games, scoring twice and assisting twice. He is proving to be a stable piece of the Freiburg lineup after finally getting serious minutes starting matchday nine. Bayern still can not hold a clean sheet for their lives so this should be a back and forth affair.
Eintracht Frankfurt v. FC Schalke 04:
M: Amine Harit, Midfielder (S04, 10.8M, 2%) - Harit and Schalke haven't done anything all season until last matchday, finally registering that illustrious win. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come as Harit can only go up from the lows he and the team have experienced this season. Harit, surprisingly, has already matched his assist total of four from last year and still has a long way to go.
D: Erik Durm, Defender (SGE, 3.6M, 1%) - Durm has scored double digit Fantasy points in two out of the last three games. He provides extreme value being cheap, sparsely owned and playing on the wings in a wingback role . He did manage two shots and four crosses last week against Mainz.
