Raphael Guerreiro has left the Portuguese national team camp and headed back to Dortmund after being deemed unfit for action, according to Kicker.

Guerreiro was called up to the national team and travelled to Portugal despite criticism from Borussia Dortmund, who condemned the move as "senseless" since the left-back has been out of action for the past weeks due to a calf injury.

On Tuesday, however, Portugal coach Fernando Santos announced that the 27-year-old will return to Dortmund because he's not fit enough to play.
