FC St. Pauli have been rocked by a double injury setback in defence, with Manolis Saliakas and Karol Mets both ruled out until further notice.

The Bundesliga club confirmed on Wednesday that Saliakas and Mets, along with Jannik Robatsch, have suffered structural muscular injuries.

The injury setbacks come at an unfortunate time for St. Pauli, who are fighting to avoid relegation.

With two Bundesliga matches remaining this season, the Hamburg-based side sit 17th, level on points with Wolfsburg in the relegation play-off spot.

They travel to face RB Leipzig this weekend.
