Christoph Baumgartner pledges loyalty to Hoffenheim amid Liverpool links
Christoph Baumgartner has played down speculation linking him with Liverpool.
In recent weeks, Hoffenheim midfielder Christoph Baumgartner has been linked with a move to Liverpool in particular, with Manchester United also said to be interested.
However, speaking in an interview with Sport Bild, the 21-year-old has insisted he isn't thinking about a move away from the Bundesliga side.
"My clear plan is to play for Hoffenheim next season," said Baumgartner, who extended his contract until 2025 back in March.
"I definitely extended my contract in March with the intention to play here next season," he added.
"I believe I have the biggest opportunity to develop further here. For me, that means playing consistently at a high level with more room for improvement."
In total, Baumgartner has featured 71 times for Hoffenheim, racking up 16 goals and 13 assists.
