Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab joins Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent transfer from the second team of TSG Hoffenheim. The 21-year-old winger signed a long-term contract for the Eagles through to 2031.

Amaimouni-Echghouyab kept the form that helped Hoffenheim II get promoted to the 3. Liga. The Spanish-born Moroccan right-winger scored nine goals and assisted six in the Hinrunde as the second team of Hoffenheim sit in seventh place.

According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee is €200k. The Champions League participants are also expected to finalize Arnaud Kalimuendo’s transfer from Nottingham Forest in the coming days. Frankfurt are the most active team in the early days of the winter transfer market as they have already completed the signing of Elversberg's talisman Younes Ebnoutalib.

Frankfurt’s sporting director Timmo Hardung confirmed that they will be patient with the youngster as he has never played in the top two divisions. “Ayoube fits our team very well. With his dribbling abilities, dynamism, and goalscoring threat, he increases our versatility in wide attacking areas.

“We know that after jumping two divisions, he will require a certain amount of time to adjust, but we’re confident that Ayoube will adapt quickly to these new challenges with the time and support we’re going to give him.”
