Long-serving TSG Hoffenheim defender Pavel Kadeřábek has officially rejoined his boyhood club Sparta Prague following the expiration of his contract, the Czech side confirmed on Monday.

The 33-year-old right-back, also capable of playing as a right midfielder, spent a decade in the Bundesliga after transferring from Sparta Prague to Hoffenheim in 2015.

During his tenure at Hoffenheim he made 287 appearances in all competitions and ranks 4th in the list of record players of the club.

Sparta Prague did not disclose the terms of the deal; Pavel Kadeřábek's return adds both experience and heart to the squad, coming shortly after the arrival of coach Brian Priske.
