Patson Daka scores debut goal for HSV in pre-season win over Heidenheim

Zambian international Patson Daka started his HSV career with a goal in a 3-1 win over Heidenheim. In addition to the former Leicester City attacker, summer signings Martin Adeline and Bilal Nadir also featured for the Bundesliga side.

Goals at either side of half-time from Albert Grønbæk and Rayan Philippe put HSV two goals in front before the 2. Bundesliga side pulled one back through Oualid Mhamdi. The 23-year-old Moroccan joined the relegated team from Bundesliga after his breakthrough 3. Liga campaign with SC Verl.

The game was played in a training center in Tyrol, Austria, where Hamburg were based since the start of the week. They will now face Premier League side Everton on August 1st. Heidenheim will start their 2. Bundesliga campaign at home against newly-promoted Osnabruck on August 8th.
