All top German clubs, except Bayern Munich, are showing concrete interest in Hertha BSC defender Linus Gechter.

A transfer away from the German capital club is planned as early as the winter, or at the latest in the summer, according to Sky Germany.

The 21-year-old promising versatile centre-back has been impressive despite their poor season and his contract runs until 2027.

Gechter, a native of Berlin, made the breakthrough at Hertha Zehlendorf before joining the BSC youth academy in 2015.

He has also represented Germany at underage level from U-16 right up to his current age grade of U-21 under coach Antonio Di Salvo.
