Werder Bremen are interested in signing Arijon Ibrahimović according to Sport BILD – however, a deal is proving difficult to complete.

Due to the club's financial situation for squad investment, Werder cannot afford a permanent transfer for the attacker.

Should they pursue a loan deal, the player would have to extend his Bayern Munich contract, as it expires next year.

Ibrahimović, having spent considerable time on loan before, wants a permanent contract with a club and to finally settle down.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Bremen remain interested in a potential deal for the 20-year-old Nürnberg native.

Last season, Ibrahimović featured over 32 times in the Bundesliga for 1.FC Heidenheim, producing 2 goals and 5 assists overall.
