Borussia Dortmund's Felix Nmecha has been linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund lately, with several clubs from England said to be monitoring his situation closely.

While Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool FC have been most frequently mentioned in recent reports, Sky Sports now claim that Newcastle United are also interested in the 25-year-old German international.

According to the report, Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe is a long-term admirer of Nmecha and considered signing him in 2023 before opting to bring in Sandro Tonali from AC Milan instead.

Now, Nmecha could potentially end up at Newcastle after all, but only if the Magpies are willing to spend big on him.

Sky Sports reports that the central midfielder has an €85 million release clause in his Borussia Dortmund contract. However, reports from Germany have claimed that there is no active release clause until 2027.
