Kento Shiogai is apparently on the verge of moving to the Bundesliga imminently, according to Sky Germany.

The transfer of the center forward to VfL Wolfsburg is practically a done deal with only formalities left to complete the transaction.

On Saturday, the Japanese player will face NAC Breda with NEC Nijmegen, after which the medical and contract signing will take place.

According to the report, Wolfsburg are exercising a release clause to bring the 1.80-meter-tall right-footed marksman on board.

The transfer fee is said to be in the region of €10million paid from the coffers of the Autostadt club to the Eredivisie side.

This season, Shiogai has scored nine goals in 14 competitive matches, with seven goals despite playing only 363 minutes in the league.
