Thomas Müller weighing career options in the USA: "Constantly thinking about my future"

Thomas Müller has opened up on his uncertain future from Bayern Munich's team camp in the United States.

Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller is out of contract following the Club World Cup, with his future still undecided.

Speaking from Bayern’s team camp in Orlando, the 35-year-old revealed no final decision has been made but hinted clarity could come before the tournament concludes.

“I’m totally relaxed about it. Even if something regarding my professional future happens during the tournament, I won’t let it distract me,” Müller said.

“I’m constantly thinking about my future, especially the short term. That will be decided here at the Club World Cup, that’s my main focus. It’s a process still ongoing, there's nothing to report yet.”

“Maybe you’ll know before I do - like last time,” joked Müller, referring to Bayern’s decision not to offer him a new contract.

Müller aims to make the most of his time in the U.S., both on and off the pitch.

“Of course, it’s an opportunity for me,” he said.

“Especially if we advance far, we’ll get to explore different regions of the U.S.”
