Pressure is mounting on Eintracht Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller after a first half of the season with inconsistent performances and a handful of remarkably heavy defeats.

Kicker describes Toppmöller’s coaching position as “not entirely stable” and warns that if the remaining Bundesliga games before Christmas against Augsburg and Hamburger SV don’t go well, his job could be at risk.

Even before last week’s Bundesliga clash with RB Leipzig, Sport Bild reported that Toppmöller was under scrutiny. Eintracht then went on to suffer their worst league defeat in almost 30 years, losing 6-0.

Die Adler fell 2-1 to Barcelona in the following Champions League match, but showed a more respectable performance in that defeat.

Now, the clear objective is to win the final two games of 2025 against Augsburg and Hamburger SV.
