FC St. Pauli will be without Karol Mets for the foreseeable future.

The Bundesliga club announced on Wednesday that the Estonian centre-back has injured his left calf.

Mets picked up the injury during St. Pauli’s 1-0 win over TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday, forcing him to leave the pitch at half-time.

Since returning from injury at the start of the season, the 32-year-old has been a mainstay at the back for the Hamburg side, making 21 appearances so far.
