21-year-old goalkeeper Jonas Urbig has officially completed his move from FC Köln to Bayern Munich.

The Germany Under-21 international has penned a contract with the Bavarians until 2029.

“We are delighted that in signing Jonas Urbig, we have been able to complete another transfer with a view to the future. He is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in German football, is very ambitious and has huge potential,” said Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund.

“Jonas is a modern goalkeeper who, with the way he interprets the goalkeeping game fits in very well with FC Bayern's style of play.”

Urbig made a total of 11 appearances for FC Köln. He spent last season on loan at Greuther Fürth, featuring 34 times.
