Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl confirmed on Friday that the Bavarians will not sign any more players before the German transfer window closes on Friday evening.

However, there could still be some activity on the departure front for Bayern, with Sky Germany suggesting that young winger Gabriel Vidovic is heading to Mainz on loan with an option to buy.

According to the report, Vidovic has extended his contract with Bayern until 2026 ahead of the move.

It's also claimed that Bayern have secured a buy-back option in case Mainz exercise the purchase option in the loan deal.

“If we want to loan out Vidovic, then we need to extend his contract. And yes, We would do that if it comes to it,” Eberl said at a press conference on Friday.

Vidovic spent last season out on loan at Dinamo Zagreb.
