Borussia Dortmund have announced a new deal for their second-choice goalkeeper, Alexander Meyer.

The 34-year-old has signed a one-year extension, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.

“Dortmund now feels like home to me," said Meyer, who has played for the Black and Yellows since 2022.

"Over the past three and a half years, I have experienced many special moments with the club, for which I am very grateful.

"The discussions with the club’s management were characterized by mutual trust and great appreciation. It means a lot to me to continue being a part of Borussia Dortmund.”
