According to sources at Kicker.de, Brentford FC is preparing an almighty offer for 1.FC Köln's talisman Said El Mala.

Reports suggest the offer is said to be in excess of €40million, which would roughly match the Cathedral club's valuations.

However, El Mala's own stance on a potential move to the Premier League's currently eighth-placed team is very much unclear.

It was recently leaked that El Mala's parents would rather their son to stay within the Bundesliga, hinting at Borussia Dortmund.

Meanwhile, reigning German champions Bayern Munich have also expressed interest in the fleet-footed and gifted 19-year-old.

A scenario in which El Mala moves to London and is then loaned back to Cologne for another season is considered unlikely by Kicker.

Besides Brentford, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Brighton & Hove Albion are also interested in the Köln star whose contract runs until 2030.
