An in-form Borussia Mönchengladbach side will face second-placed RB Leipzig in the opening fixture of matchday 12 in the Bundesliga. Eugen Polanski’s Gladbach won the last three league games by three-goal margins. After going to the international break with a defeat in Hoffenheim, Leipzig resumed service by beating Werder Bremen.
The visitors are without two key players as they hope to remain in second place in the standings. Assan Ouedraogo played a huge role in their ascent by scoring the opener against Bremen, but he’ll miss this one due to a hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Conrad Harder gets another chance in Romulo’s absence.
Philipp Sander is once again unavailable for the hosts, while Tim Kleindienst is back in the squad following a long-term injury. Haris Tabakovic will aim to score in the seventh game in a row for club and country.
