Kleindienst undergoes successful surgery, late October return scheduled

Die Fohlen might have their first choice marksman back sooner than expected.

Sky Germany have reported on some positive news for Borussia Mönchengladbach as Tim Kleindienst’s recovery is going very well.

Following successful knee surgery on his affected meniscus, he is set to return already by the end of October 2025.

Kleindienst missed Gladbach's final game of the 2024-25 campaign as managing director for sport Roland Virkus provided an explanation.

Fears were at an all-time high earlier on this summer with the possibility of the 29-year-old being ruled out for half a year.

Although he is still set to miss the start of the upcoming 2025-26 Bundesliga season, it appears he won't be sidelined for too long.

Kleindienst was vital to Die Fohlen's successes as he found the net a total of 16 times in 33 appearances.
