Nathaniel Brown is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich from Eintracht Frankfurt.

According to Bild, a breakthrough was reached in negotiations on Wednesday, with a fee of just under €65 million agreed between the two clubs.

The final details concern the structure of the deal – specifically the split between the base fee and add-ons.

Eintracht Frankfurt are insisting that the bonus payments should not make up too large a share of the total package, but all parties reportedly remain confident a deal will be finalised in the coming days, most likely before Germany’s World Cup opener against Curaçao on Sunday.

Brown and Bayern are already said to have agreed on a contract running until 2031.
