Azmoun expected to join Leverkusen six months early

Bild reports that Bayer Leverkusen are expected to conclude a deal with Zenit that will see Sardar Azmoun make the switch to Germany now instead of in the summer.
Bayer Leverkusen are close to agreeing a transfer fee with Zenit for Sardar Azmoun, according to Bild.

'Die Werkself' recently announced that the striker would make the switch to BayArena in the summer, at which point he is out of contract.

However, according to Bild, the 27-year-old striker is expected to complete his move this month, with the two clubs close to agreeing a fee in the region of €5 million.

Azmoun has scored 10 goals in 21 games for Zenit this season.
