Hoffenheim confirm moves for Gacinovic and Klauss, Adamyan status still uncertain

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim confirmed two transactions late Monday.

There are rumors that a third one might have gotten over the line just prior to the deadline.
The reported loan-out of Serbian attacker Mijat Gacinovic from Hoffenheim to Panathinikos is through. The former Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder spend the duration of the season on loan in the Greek super league.

The Sinsheimers also confirmed that Brazilian attacker Joao "Klauss" de Melo had switched loan locales. Sent from Kraichgau to Standard Liege on unexpended loan one year ago this month, the striker will now head to another Belgian club; VV St. Truiden.

Klauss' working papers with Hoffenheim continue through the end of 2024 and the 24-year-old is due back in Germany once his fifth loan-out concludes at the end of the season.

Earlier in the day, rumors surfaced that another Hoffenheim attacker, Armenian striker Sargis Adamyan, would be headed out the door as well. Belgium sources were reporting that the 28-year-old was set to rejoin former coach Alfred Schreuder at Brugge.

The deadline having just been passed means that the deal might have fallen through, although it remains possible that the clubs got it over the line just in time.
