Christopher Nkunku has been touted for a move to a bigger club, but RB Leipzig have no plans of letting their prized asset go this summer.

"Christopher Nkunku will still be playing for us next season," underlined RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff in an interview with Sky.

However, the Leipzig chief then went on to add that "nothing is ever certain in football."

In a recent interview with L'Equipe, Christopher Nkunku seemed to cast doubt on his future at RB Leipzig, saying:

"A lot can happen between now and the summer.

"It would be disrespectful to the club to think about it now. At the end of the season, I will sit down with the club, with my advisor and my family and make a decision."

The Frenchman remains under contract until 2024.
