Report: Bayern terminate Fiete Arp's contract

Bayern München have agreed to terminate Fiete Arp's contract, per Bild.
Bayern München and Fiete Arp have mutually agreed to terminate the player's contract, according to Bild.

The German tabloid reports that the 22-year-old forward will receive €3 million in compensation following the termination of the contract, which was due to expire in 2023 – and not 2024 as previously believed.

In return for terminating the contract and letting Arp join Holstein Kiel, where he spent last season on loan, Bayern have agreed a 35 percent sell-on-clause for the forward.

Expectations were high when Arp was brought to Bayern from Hamburger SV for €3 million in 2019, but the striker never made his mark at Allianz Arena and made just one appearance for the senior side.
