Salihamidzic: Mané still needs a bit of time
Sadio Mané still needs time to settle in at Bayern, according to club boss Hasan Salihamidzic.
Bayern München board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic says Sadio Mané "needs a bit of time" to reach his top level following his summer move from Liverpool.
After a promising start to life in Germany, Mané has failed to find the net in his last five games for Bayern in all competitions.
Nevertheless, Salihamidzic isn't worried that the 30-year-old will come good for the Bavarians.
"Sadio still needs a bit of time, he has to get used to the Bundesliga and everything else, but he will," Salihamidzic told Sport Bild:
"I talk to him regularly, but I also give him space. He must now organize himself in a way that makes him feel at home in Munich.
"Sadio is one of the best players in the world. He will perform very well and give us a lot of joy."
