Sport Bild Report: Glatzel and Reis possess non-promotion exit clauses

Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that Hamburger SV stars Robert Glatzel and Ludovit Reis both have exit clauses in their contracts in the event of non-promotion.
As if the pressure on Hamburger SV to get back in the Bundesliga after five seasons spent in the German second division wasn't great enough, Germany's "Sport Bild" now reports that two of the team's leading scorers possess an easy exit if the Hanseatic club can't achieve promotion this year. The 2. Bundesliga's leading goal-scorer Roberty Glatzel and high-valued Dutch youth international Ludovit Reis both have exit clauses in their current contracts.

Glatzel turned down chances to play for a Bundesliga side when extending with the HSV this past summer. The German tabloid reports that the 29-year-old's current exit clause totals only €1.5 million, meaning that Glatzel would constitute quite the bargain for some of the other top-tier sides he's been linked with in the past. The 22-year-old Reis is reportedly available for around €5 million; still an affordable fee for a club interested in investing in a top-level developmental prospect.

Hamburger SV currently sit in second-place in the 2. Bundesliga. Glatzel is the leading goal-scorer in Germany's "Unterhaus" with 13 league goals in 19 appearances for "der Dino". Reis has netted five tallies and chipped in two assists in the same number of deployments. The HSV presently battles against other promotion candidates SV Darmstadt 98, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, 1. FC Heidenheim, and SC Paderborn 07.
