Wolfsburg and Marmoush confirm separation

VfL Wolfsburg officially confirmed the departure of striker Omar Marmoush this summer on their website and social media feeds Tuesday. 
Though it wasn't exactly new or breaking news, new VfL Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz took the time to make an official statement about the departure of Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush via the club's website and social media feeds on Tuesday. The player himself - set to depart on a free this summer - was also given the opportunity to say a few words.

"In open and honest talks, both sides have exchanged their ideas," Schindzielorz noted in a statement, "In the course of these talks, no agreement could be reached. For his commitment in the jersey of VfL, we thank Omar and wish him all the best in his future sporting and personal endeavors."

It has been reported that MArmoush already passed an Eintracht Frankfurt medical last week and should be unveiled as an SGE player soon. the 24-year-old nevertheless chose not to reveal his next destination in a statement released by the club.

"I had a good time in Wolfsburg and I would like to thank those responsible for giving me the opportunity to develop further, also through my two loans [to FC St. Pauli and VfB Stuttgart]," the Egyptian international said, "For me, however, it's now time to take a different. I will give everything until the end of the season to help the team achieve its goals."
