Report: Dortmund ready to let Schulz go for free

Bild reports that Nico Schulz could leave Borussia Dortmund free of charge this summer.
Borussia Dortmund are so desperate to get Nico Schulz off their books that the 30-year-old would be allowed to leave for free, according to Bild.

Schulz hasn't lived up to expectations following his €25 million move from Hoffenheim in 2019, and hasn't made a single first-team appearance this season.

Now, with one year remaining on Schulz's contract, Dortmund are reportedly ready to let the left-back leave without receiving a fee for him.

Schulz reportedly earns a fee of €6 million per year.
