Fabrizio Romano: Milan send Vranckx back to Wolfsburg, buyer for Belgian sought

After making just nine appearances in the Serie A, VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx is headed back to Germany's northern Autostadt.

Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Germany's green company team is actively seeking a new location to either sell or park the Belgian international in.
According to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan have opted not to pull a €12 million purchase option on VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx. The 20-year-old is thus headed back to Lower Saxony's "Autostadt". Romano notes that a sketchy relationship with VfL trainer Niko Kovac nevertheless means that Vranckx is likely headed back out soon.

Romano doesn't cite any specific potential destination for Vranckx, but it remains possible that several clubs will be interested in procuring the talented youngster. Although he made just nine appearances (registering one assist) with his Serie A side, Vranckx maintains an estimated market worth of €8.5 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
