DFB and Nagelsmann far apart on salary, Kicker reports

Kicker reports that the German Football Association and Julian Nagelsmann are far apart on salary in their negotiations for the job as Germany coach.
Negotiations between the German Football Association (DFB) and Julian Nagelsmann regarding the vacant position as Germany coach seem to have hit a snag.

According to Kicker, the DFB has offered Nagelsmann a salary of €4 million per year, but the former Bayern coach is demanding €7 million.

That is the salary he is currently receiving from Bayern Munich, who still have the 36-year-old on their payroll after dismissing him as coach in March.

Kicker reports that Nagelsmann's camp has explored the possibility of Bayern making up the difference between the €4 million offered by the DFB and the €7 million demanded by the coach, but the German champions have closed the door on this.
