Gnabry remains out through early March, Kicker reports

In an article published on the magazine's website this evening, German footballing journalist Georg Holzner claims that FC Bayern München and German national team attacker Serge Gnabry is only halfway through his lengthy rehabilitation process.
News that Serge Gnabry had resumed some basic training last week left some hope that the 28-year-old might again be an option for club and country soon. According to German footballing journalist Georg Holzner of Germany's Kicker Magazine, however, Gnabry won't be able to return to the pitch until the beginning of March at the earliest. This is provided he doesn't suffer yet another setback.

Holzner writes that Gnabry still has a lengthy rehab process ahead of him as he attempts to get fit again following a serious muscle tendon injury suffered in early December. The latest injury setback, combined with a fractured forearm suffered earlier this year, have limited Gnabry to just five league appearances this year. In ten appearances across all competitions, he's never gone the full 90 minutes once.
