Eintracht loan attacker Hauge back to original academy club
Eintracht Frankfurt have loaned Norwegian attacker Jens Petter Hauge back to his original Norwegian club.

Jens Petter Hauge | FK Bødo/Glimt |
Hauge arrived in Germany's commercial capital on loan from Italian giants AC Milan in 2021. Although Frankfurt themselves opted to purchase him from the Serie A side, he was quickly loaned out to Belgium in the summer of 2022. A problematic loan stint with Gent left his reputation tainted. With SGE trainer Dino Toppmöller having no place for him in his squad, Hauge's estimated market worth has declined from a peak of €10 million with Milan to €2.5 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
Hauge's loan arrangement will actually keep him in Norway through the end of the current calendar year. Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that the German club wouldn't put any obstacles in the way of a permanent departure. As such, "Sport Bild" reports that a purchase option in the €4-5 million range has been anchored in the deal. SGE sporting CEO Krösche noted that Hauge had dealt with the fact that his sporting prospects in Germany diminished with class in a club statement.
"It's important for Jens Petter to play," Krösche's statement read, "He will get an opportunity in Bodo. Since his return [from loan], he's behaved in a impeccably professional manner. We wish him all the best in his home country."
