Bayern bosses left 'irritated' by the timing and circumstances of Löw's decision

Bayern München have been left 'irritated' by the timing and circumstances of Joachim Löw's decision to exclude Thomas Müller, Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng from the German national team.
Germany coach Löw travelled to Munich on Tuesday along with assistant coach Marcus Sorg and general manager Oliver Bierhoff to inform Thomas Müller, Jerome Boateng and Mats Hummels that they're no longer part of his plans.

In the wake of the decision, Bayern München bosses Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Hasan Salihamidzic have now issued an official statement in which they state that they have been left 'irritated' by Löw's timing and the way he chose to inform the Bayern stars of his decision.

With important games against VfL Wolfsburg and Liverpool coming up, the Bayern bosses feel Löw should have announced his decision at an earlier date.

"We believe the timing and circumstances of the announcement of this decision to the players and to the public is questionable," the statement reads.

"Additionally, we were surprised that this was handled yesterday as part of an unannounced visit by Joachim Löw and Oliver Bierhoff at Bayern at Säbener Strasse," the Bayern bosses write in the statement.
