RB Leipzig have been boosted by the return of Assan Ouedraogo to team training.

The 19-year-old was pictured back on the pitch with his teammates in images posted by the club on Friday.

Ouedraogo had been sidelined since suffering a tendon injury in his left knee during Leipzig’s 2-0 win over Werder Bremen on November 23.

With his return to team training, the youngster is expected to be available for Leipzig’s first game of 2026 against St. Pauli on January 10.

Antonio Nusa and Ezechiel Banzuzi are still training individually, but are also expected to be fit for the clash against St. Pauli, according to Bild.
