Pavao Pervan is ready to fill in while Koen Casteels is sidelined with an injury.
Pavao Pervan insists he feels fully prepared to replace Koen Casteels in Wolfsburg's line-up for tonight's away game against Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Casteels will be sidelined for weeks after picking up an injury, and Pervan is ready to fill in for the Belgian keeper.
"To be honest, nothing will change for me. I've spoken about that with our goalkeeping coach. I'll continue to work as I have been because I always want to be ready to play in case I'm needed," he told Wölfe TV and added:
"But of course it's much easier when you know you're playing at the weekend because you can mentally prepare better."
Fortuna Düsseldorf and Wolfsburg lock horns tonight at 20.30 CEST.
