Bundesliga Team of the Week: Matchday 7

Our Bundesliga Team of the Week lines up in an offensive 3-1-4-2 formation this time around.
Goalkeeper: Alexander Nübel, Schalke 04
Made a number of outstanding saves and certainly wasn't to blame for the fact that Schalke were forced to settle for a draw against Köln.

Right-back: Stefan Posch, Hoffenheim
Had a strong game on the right in Hoffenheim's 2-1 win over Bayern München. Worked his socks off and did well to come forward to contribute offensively.

Centre-back: Dayot Upamecano, RB Leipzig
The big centre-back put in a rock solid performance as RB Leipzig drew 1-1 with Leverkusen.

Left-back: Daniel Brosinki, Mainz
Had a really solid game against Paderborn and stepped up to score Mainz's winner from the penalty spot.

Central midfielder: Denis Zakaria, Gladbach
Zakaria dominated the middle of the park and also scored a goal in Gladbach's impressive 5-1 victory over Augsburg.

Right midfielder: Patrick Herrmann, Gladbach
The experienced winger had an extraordinary game against Augsburg, scoring and brace and making an assist in his team's 5-1 win.

Offensive midfielder: Suat Serdar, Schalke 04
Serdar, who was recently called up to the German national team for the first time, scored and was Schalke's best outfield player in their 1-1 draw with Köln.

Offensive midfielder: Vladimir Darida, Hertha BSC
Pulled the strings in midfield for Hertha in their 3-1 win over Fortuna Düsseldorf in which he scored and made an assist.

Left midfielder: Marcus Thuram, Gladbach (3)
Had another impressive game for Gladbach, this time on the left wing, setting up a goal in their 5-1 win over Augsburg.

Striker: Alassane Pléa, Gladbach
Scored and made two assists in Gladbach's 5-1 thrashing of Augsburg.

Striker: Sargis Adamyan, Hoffenheim
Celebrated his first Bundesliga start by scoring both of Hoffenheim's goals in their sensational 2-1 victory over Bayern München.
