Report: Werder turn down Galatasaray offer for Augustinsson

Werder Bremen are understood to have turned down a €3 million bid from Galatasaray for Ludwig Augustinsson.
Werder Bremen have reportedly turned down an offer for Ludwig Augustinsson from Galatasaray.

'The Green-Whites' are demanding €10 million for the left-back, but the Turkish Super Liga club didn't want to pay more than €3 million to acquire the 27-year-old, according to Bild.

It's further claimed that Galatasaray don't plan to make another bid, so Augustinsson will not be moving to Istanbul. Although Werder have to cut down their wages after getting relegated from the Bundesliga, they don't want to sell their best players below value.

According to reports, Augustinsson will meet with the Bremen bosses this week to decide on how to proceed.

Speaking ahead of Euro 2020, the Swedish international admitted that his ambitions go beyond playing in the 2. Bundesliga.
