Gladbach boss rules out selling Hofmann and Ginter amid Bayern links
Gladbach boss Max Eberl has ruled out selling Jonas Hofmann and Matthias Ginter this summer.
Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director has made it clear that Jonas Hofmann and Matthias Ginter will stay at the club this season.
The two German internationals have been linked with moves away from the club, with Bayern München said to be interested in them both.
But Eberl has emphasized that none of them will be leaving Gladbach before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
"I assume and am very convinced that Jonas will stay with us. At least until the summer of 2022," Eberl told Bild and added:
"There was never a concrete offer from Bayern, nor were there any concrete talks with them," the Gladbach boss added about Hofmann, who has two years left on his deal.
When asked about Ginter, whose contract expires at the end of the season, Eberl replied:
"As of today, we haven't had any serious talks. Our squad will remain as it is."
