Borussia Dortmund are reorganizing their coaching staff for the 2024/25 season.

The Black and Yellows confirmed on Thursday that former BVB player Lukasz Piszczek, as well as Joao Tralhao and Ertugrul Arslan, will work as assistant coaches under new head coach Nuri Sahin.

Sven Bender and Sebastian Geppert, who worked as assistant coaches under Edin Terzic, will leave the club.

"With Joao, Ertugrul and Lukasz, we've got a trio that brings a lot of expertise and good ideas and will work well with Nuri. We are convinced that their different strengths will help us to have a successful season," said BVB managing director for sport Lars Ricken.

"We quickly built up a great deal of trust in our discussions. In this constellation, our coaching team around Nuri is very well positioned. The three of them will help us achieve our goals thanks to their different levels of experience in different areas," added sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
