Armindo Sieb is on loan at Mainz from Bayern Munich until the end of the season, but a new report has sparked speculation that his spell could be cut short.

According to RTL/ntv and sport.de, several clubs are showing interest in the 22-year-old forward. The strongest interest is said to come from the English Championship, with clubs in Belgium, Switzerland, as well as the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga also keeping tabs on Sieb.

Sieb has mainly been used as a substitute at Mainz this season, under both former head coach Bo Henriksen and his successor Urs Fischer. His limited playing time could make a change of scenery more appealing should an opportunity arise.

Mainz hold a purchase option at the end of the season, while Bayern retain a buy-back clause in that scenario.

However, if interest in Sieb intensifies further during the winter transfer window, Mainz and Bayern could agree to cut the loan short to enable a permanent move to another club.

Sieb's contract with Bayern expires in 2027.
